[Recipe] Mango Pancake

Who hasn’t been in their kitchen during quarantine? It was indeed the time to explore or revisit some hobbies — and we did so too. Just adding one ingredient can make so much of a difference! Check out our quarantine recipe, mango pancake!


1.5 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 pinch of salt🧂 2 eggs🥚 1 cup milk 🥛 1 mango 🥭 2 tsp melted butter 🧈


  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder


  1. Peel and cut off the mango. Mash your mango until it has turned into mush. (Pro tip: You could also use a blender if you already have one).

  2. Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt altogether in a large bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk until smooth. Add the mango puree into the bowl and continue to whisk. Fold in the melted butter.

  4. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. (Pro tip: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients little by little. Mix what you poured first, pour more when the small portion of batter looks smooth. Add more milk if you need it to reach the right consistency) OPTIONAL STEP: Add your tsp of chia seeds and cinnamon here if you want!

  5. Heat the pan on medium to medium low. Coat the pan with a little butter, then drop large spoonfuls of batter into the pan. After 2-3 minutes, check the bottom of the pancake and see if it’s cooked.

  6. Flip the pancake using a spatula. Cook for another minute, until lightly browned.

  7. Enjoy!
